Story from stlblues.com
Suffice it to say this is great news. Oshie will most definitely be in the Blues' lineup this coming season, which will do nothing but good considering this teams offense the past few years. Eller will have every chance in the word to make the team this year, and even if he doesn't, he'll still only a year away. Probably end up going the same route Patrik Berglund went this last year.

It's about time. Let's get Berglund signed and over here, too. I'm tired of waiting. The future is now and the team needs to embrace it. The Penguins have showed how much some good young players can accomplish and turn around a franchise in just a few years. Granted, none of the Blues' youngsters are quite of the caliber of a Crosby or a Malkin, but it still shows that a youth movement doesn't mean bad, losing hockey.

But yeah, we'll be seeing the first true year of the Blues' youth movement. Unless there's a big move in the offseason, the roster next year will consist of Oshie, Berglund, Backes, Boyes, Perron, Stempniak, EJ, Woywitka, Wagner, and possibly Polak and Jonas Junland. What do all those guys have in common? They're all 26 years old or younger.

I like it. You know, even if they aren't great, hopefully they'll be entertaining. If you're going to miss the playoffs, miss them while playing a run-n-gun, balls-to-the-wall up-tempo style rather than an stodgy, defensive game. If you're gonna lose the game, lose it 5-4 or 6-5 instead of 2-1.

I'll echo those sentiments. Last year kind of unnerved me in regards to Andy Murray's ability to coach a run-and-gun style of play. It's really going to be a shame if we see Oshie and Berglund getting Perron-esque playing time or otherwise dumping and chasing.
