As a Rangers fan, I cannot root for either team, I just dislike them both. So, I hope it is a long and tough series and whichever team wins is too worn out to win the Stanley Cup.

With that said, I am going with the Penguins in six.

Timonen being out sucks...

With that said, this series will still be full of fire, blood and guts! Last team standing wins!

I predict Pens (obviously), but I can definitely see it going 7.

LET'S GO PENGUINS!

Good first period so far. Nice goal by the Pens, but the Flyers... uh oh! They scored again! Richards again! First was all his work, the second was thanks to Lupul's persistence (though as the announcers pointed out, why didn't one of our guys plant Lupul?)

Crazy first period. No big hits or scrums that there was hyped up to be, but it definately hasn't been dull so far.

Philly's players were busy poking the puck out of Fleury's pad that they don't have time to hit.
They did have a big hit on Malkin on PP, but that just turned into a breakaway for Malkin.....

Well it certainly was a very entertaining game. Malkin is just sick right now. Very impressive. Judging by how intense the first game was, the series should turn out to be a battle. Looking forward to the next game already.

Very good series! Pens took it to the Flyers in game 1, but I expect the Flyers to come out and play a very physical game 2 - more back checking and control of the neutral zone -to try to offset the offensive firepower the Pens.

Without Timonen though I'm not sure they have enough to take the series.

After the first 15 minutes the Flyers played like garbage. The Pens capitalized on every mistake they made and they paid for it.

Expect a better effort from the Flyers tomorrow. They can't afford to go back to Philly down 2-0.
