Hey Everyone!
First of all I'm just going to tell you something I haven't told anyone about before and that is I have panhypopit and it's something where I don't have a pituatary gland.I'm bringing this up just cause I've been bugged on a number of occasions in different forums about my facts being wrong and me being completely retarded and it's something that just hits me right in he heart.Because I've had people call me fat, retarded, stupid, brainless, retarded and millions of different names and sometimes I'll stay up all night just crying so please if my posts don't make sense this is why! Also I'vegone to the National Health Institute in Maryland and the top doctors didn't know what was wrong and how do you think that feels when you have specialists saying I don'tknow how to help you. Secondly I'm in a big hunt to officially find my favourite hockey team beause I bought a Ducks jersey not to long ago but I really don't like em' toomuch anymore and don't know what to do.I want a team without a big fanbase here at TSB just cause I feel better when I can sorta be posting GDT's in a thread without somebody already posting one and it'd be nice if the team didn't have a mod yet. Also I don't want it to have like millions of accolades and titles and please just give me a straight up answer because when people give me like a list of like 14 teams it doesn't help cause i don't know what team to pick! Also I know Anaheim was a good team and everything and i shouldn't give up on them but I just totally lost interest in he Duckies!

I hope the doctors find out what's going on, so you can start to either get better or maybe handle it as best as possible.
I'm a Flyers fan....but it's a tough life. Your heart gets broken a lot. ![]() |

Second, a belated welcome to the boards BoomLappyBoom88! ![]() Finally, if *anybody* makes such a personal attack on you on these boards, please send me a PM; we don't tolerate that "high school stuff" on these boards. We don't mind a good heated debate - but making personal insults isn't acceptable behavior here. Quote:

Anybody can be a fan of a winner. And everybody hates a bandwagon fan. What you need to do is become a fan of a long-suffering team who has never won a thing and has done nothing but crush the hearts of its fan-base year-in and year-out.
I speak, of course, of the St. Louis Blues. A team that has never won a Cup in 40 seasons. A team that hasn't even been to the Cup finals since 1970. A team that has only managed to get past the 2nd round of the playoffs twice since 1970. The Blues had the longest string of consecutive playoff appearances (1979-2004), all while never even making it to the Cup finals. Now, they've missed the playoffs three years in a row. But, it's more than just that. This is a franchise that has often featured superstar players who frequently have the best years of their careers in St. Louis while never even getting close to winning a Cup, only to turn around and win a Cup within a year or two of leaving St. Louis. For instance: - Brett Hull: Became the premier goal scorer in the league and a perennial all-star while playing for the Blues between 1988 and 1998, all while never advancing beyond the 2nd round. Then, the year after leaving St. Louis, he wins a Cup with Dallas, followed by a few other Cups with the Blues' hated rival Detroit. -Brendan Shanahan: Became one of the premier power forwards (including back-to-back 50 goal seasons) and a huge fan favorite while playing for the Blues between 1991 and 1995, all while never advancing beyond the 2nd round. Then, two years after being traded from the Blues, he wins a Cup with the hated Red Wings, followed by a few more. - Chris Pronger: Became one of the elite defensemen in the league while playing for the Blues between 1995 and 2004, including winning a Norris Trophy and a Hart Trophy. During that time, he only advanced beyond the 2nd round once. He was traded in a salary dump and in his first two seasons elsewhere went to the Cup finals with Edmonton and then won a Cup with Anaheim. - Doug Weight: While Weight didn't perform at as high of a level as the 3 aforementioned players, he was a key member of the team (not to mention an alternate captain) from 2001-06, a period during which the Blues never advanced beyond the 2nd round. He was traded in a salary dump in 2006 and, within a few months, won a Cup with Carolina. There's a chance that Dallas Drake (who played with the Blues from 2000-07 and served as captain for several years) could join this illustrious group if Detroit wins the Cup this year. So, not only do the Blues and their fans never get to even sniff the Cup, they watch their former star players (not to mention fan favorites) turn around and quickly win a Cup with a different team. It's a crushing, depressing thing that just seems to keep on happening. As the saying goes, misery loves company. So, hop on board the Blues bandwagon and make them your team of choice. Now is the time to do it, too, because the Blues are quietly amassing some good young talent in kids like Erik Johnson, David Perron, Brad Boyes, Lee Stempniak, T.J. Oshie, Lars Eller, and Patrik Berglund so maybe (just maybe) the long suffering fan base will be rewarded in the next few years. Join now and loudly proclaim your devotion to the Blues and if the Blues ever manage to actually win a Cup, no one will be able to brand you a bandwagon fan. CHOOSE THE BLUES!!!
