Detroit sweep hands down. What do you all think?

No one's giving the Preds a snowball's chance in hell, but I think they'll get it to at least 5; banking on a couple subpar games from Hasek.

Hasek is by all likelyhood the starter, and not Osgood.

Historically, the Wings have it the toughest in the opening rounds, being pretty slow starters, and usually improving as the playoffs goes on.

I have faith in this team though, and I can't see them blow up in the first round, they have the hunger needed from last year, and the Preds frankly doesn't scare me all that much. Unless Ellis keeps playing like a Vezina winner the rest of the way...

I'm going to say Wings in 5.

Yeah, I can't see the Preds standing much of a chance in this one. Detroit outclasses them in just about every way imaginable. They have two Cup-winning goalies, the best defenseman of our time, and great offensive depth. Detroit takes this one in 5.

I agree with Detroit in five. I can see Nashville picking up one win in this series, but Detroit is just too good.

Detroit is deep, talented, well-coached and hungry. Wings in 4 or 5.

I have a feeling Nashville is going to surprised everyone. But I think Detroit will take it 6 or 7.
