Memphis will not get out. Look for the Tigers to fall to TX. Pitt-MISt might be one of the best 2nd round games.

Texas should win this region.

Memphis will be the first Number One Seed to fall in the tourney.

So what if any upsets are people picking here in the South?

First Round:
12 Temple over 5 Mich. St.

and thats it until the regional final where I think Texas will knock of Memphis.

I actually behind you on that, King. I know Temple could match punch for punch with the Spartans. I agree, Texas will manhandle Memphis to punch their ticket to the Final Four. Good Call .

I'm interested in who steps up in that MSU/Temple game more.
Drew Nietzel or Dionte Christmas?

Can Jack McClinton shake off a bad ACC Tournament (averaging 17 points per game, McClinton had 24 points total in the two ACC tourny games) and catch fire? Can the Dwayne Collins we saw versus Duke show up for the Dance? If so.. the Canes can do some damage.

What about Pittsburgh? Certainly one of the hottest teams coming out of their Big East Tourny win. Can they stay hot? I have them actually beating Memphis in the Semis.

Marquette vs Kentucky. I think this could be the best game of Round 1.
