it's deffinitely between those 2 and i'd take beasley simply bc forwards transfer faster than PG's do in the nba.look at the past couple draft classes and compare the forwards to to the PG's and see how they're putting them to shame.with all that said it really will come down to who gets that pick and their need(s)

jason williams/chris quinn/marcus banks dwayne wade/ricky davis/daquan cook michael beasley/ricky davis/marion shawn marion/marc blount/Dorell Wright/haslem udonia haslem/Mark Blount/Joel Anthony/Dorell Wright that too me,looks like a damn good lineup and deffinitely a playoff team in the east.now let's take a look at the other teams: seattle-just drafted durant and have a slew of other forwards so they'd likely take rose t'wolves-some combination of foye/mccants/and brewer is looking like they're future a the guard position so they'd likely go with beasley grizz-lowry and conley all young and just out of college are at the point so they'd likely go with beasley knicks-they have solid guard play, but they're also stacked with good players at the F position so they could go either way LA Clips-shaun livingston was looking like their future at PG until he came down with a serious injury, and they have maggette at SF.we've heard maggs' name in trade rumors before so they're another team that could go either way.

Marion will opt out of his final year. He won't be on the Heat next year, so Beasley makes plenty of sense for them. I believe Beasley will go first no matter who has the pick.

I think the Bulls make a mistake if they don't take Beasley. They have been missing low post scoring for how many years now? Then they pass on the best post player in the draft for a point guard?
Rose will probably go first but seeing what the Bulls nead I wont understand it when it happens. |
