Certainly hope that Game #2 is better, because that one was an ugly mof...

And Celtic fan: stop sounding like bitter Wizard fan! It belittles you and your team. And Sam Cassell, FWIW, is a class 1 jerk. Was before he joined the Clips, saw it first hand here in L.A., and how he left, and he's still one. Good player, but he's been on so many teams because he's like that.

Did Lebron Get hit in the mouth??? Sorry, don't call me bitter. That was pathetic. He gets fouled in his shoulder and grabs his mouth. The guy is a faker and a pansy.

Yep, that's what I thought. Don't deny this fact, just try to make attacks. He's too much of an athletic freak to need to do the crap he does and you shouldn't be defending him for it, you should be pissed. He should be asserting himself, but instead he's being a priss.

Please defend the play and don't just try to abstractly attack me. He got hit in the shoulder and grabbed his mouth. Do you deny this fact?

I didn't watch the game, therefore, I can't nor argue with your post. So, you got a free pass from me.

Celtics fan:

OK, let's slow this down for you to digest... does it startle you that I'm calling you out on your basketball acumen? Because while you whine and complain about "star players getting calls", I'm here to educate you: star players get SOME calls. They also get the holy hell beaten out of them by refs who are just as eager to seem "fair", and allow stuff by ordinary players that, were it done to those players would get a foul called 90% of the time.

Step back, take off you green-tinted glasses, and look at what I just said: can you think back to games when this was true? When Kevin Garnett was mauled, and nothing was called against him? I was awakened to this reality when I watched Shaq for the first time up close here in L.A., I was appalled at the liberties opposing players took against him. I've seen it vs. Kobe, vs. LeBron, vs. Paul Pierce, vs. Steve Nash, and in Games 1 and 2, vs. Deron Williams of the Jazz who was molested on several drives that drew no calls.

Yes, they get some calls, but it all evens out, because if the refs were truly fair, these players would shoot 50 free throws a game given the abuse they endure. So stop whining about the calls/non-calls, man up and get after it! You have so far, winning Games 1 and 2 at home, but we recognize this familiar position: last year vs. the Pistons. And you know how that one turned out, don't you? Hint: the Cavs played in the NBA Finals; the Pistons didn't.

if the Cavs don't figure out how to score some points, they won't be playing in the finals this year.

On the foul argument, stars get punished, no doubt about it. I get to see that everyday with Dwight Howard and the stuff opposing defenders are allowed to get away with. However, Lebron is one of the most protected players in the league. Sometimes the slightest contact is called for a foul, and he always gets the benefit of the whistle. Teams that play against the Cavs have a legit argument here. Of all the tough fouls Lebron has supposedly received, only one was a real tough one when Haywood knocked him on the floor. All the other fouls have been blown out of proportion because it's Lebron. For example, when both Songaila and Cassell slapped him in the face, he acted as if Mike Tyson had knocked him down senceless, and that type of acting is what some people may find a bit annoying. On the other hand, teams rely on some "tricks" if you will to go after these guys trying to stop them. In the end, stars, specially Kobe, Lebron, and Wade will get the benefit of the call almost every time.
