I've always wondered what Lakers fans think of Luke Walton. He seems to be the type of player a coach might love but fans hate. In Orlando, we went through something similar with Pat Garrity who for some reason got tons of playing time, under 3 different coaches no less, while we fans always hated seeing him on the floor. We always wondered if he had pictures of someone inside the franchise in a compromising situation. Walton had that critical turnover at the end of game 3, and now that block that for the life of me I don't get why he took so long to make his move, and why he didn't dunk it. Do you Lakers fan like him, or are you also wondering why Phil Jackson has a fascination with him?

I think Luke Walton is way better than Pat. Walton passes the ball pretty well IMO. But what can Garrity do? All he does is to shoot 3's. I don't understand why the MAGIC didn't get rid of him.

no no, I'm not comparing Garrity and Walton as players. Walton obviously is the superior one. I'm comparing their situations. You have guys like Walton, Garrity, and Ryan Bowen to name a few who seem to always find a spot in the league, and their coaches always find a way to play them, sometimes big minutes. At the same time, fans hate seeing those players on the floor because they can't figure out what they've done to deserve playing time. In this case, Walton is a better player than those 2 I mentioned, but he strikes me as one of those guys who if they played in my favorite team, I wouldn't want to see him on the floor. He can make the occasional shot or play, but he can also make some serious mistakes at the same time.

The bigest game of the series coming up. If the Lakers win they take the series in 7. But if the Jazz pull out game 5 in LA it will be over in 6. The Lakers going to Utah in an elimination game is bad news for LA. Game 5 on Wed will tell us who wins this series IMO.
