This is where the Magic's amazing season comes to an end. They are just not ready yet. They don't matchup well with the Pistons, and for whatever reason Billups, RIP, and Wallace have always played better against Orlando than against any other team. The Pistons have the savvy and experience factor. Most Magic players just won their first ever playoff series. It will be a hard fought series, but the Pistons will take it in the end. The Pistons depth, specially in the frontcourt, will be huge against a team with a very thin bench. The Magic will take all these lessons learned this season and come back as true contenders next year. They've already done what they had to do making this a very successful season.

This is going to be a great series. Detroit is basically a better team than Orlando, but I do believe the MAGIC have a chance(40% maybe?) to advance. Time for the MAGIC to revenge. The MAGIC would have beaten the PISTONS 5 years ago if they had got Dwight on the team.
Go MAGIC!!

Just what I thought, Orlando has no chance of even competing in this game. The officiating is as one sided as it can be. What a joke. As soon as I saw Dick Bavetta, I knew Detroit was winning no matter what. We need both Detroit and Boston in the conference finals, no other matchup would create better TV ratings. What a joke.

Awful second half by Orlando. It looked like they were overintense in this game. They need to relax and just play basketball. This only counts as 1 game, but they need to play their game, or this will turn out ugly. Amazing all the crap they allow Detroit to get away with.

I don't understand why teams don't use the hack a shaq philosophy for late game fouling. You're in the penalty, you don't have to foul the person with the ball. Just foul the worst foul shooter the second the ball is inbound.

What happened is that Detroit and Boston have to meet in the conference finals, end of story. I've been saying this for months, and now it's happening. I don't think this series could be any more one sided when it comes to officiating. They're not even trying to hide it. Not only that call, but throughout the game, specially at the end, there were so many bad calls it's impossible to just keep track of it. From Nelon's 6th foul, to that noncall on Hedo to tie the game, to that foul on Hamilton with 10 seconds to go. This series is over. Actually, this series never started, the Magic never had a chance. I'm proud of those guys who are fighting hard, but this all had already been decided. Nothing has changed. The NBA is as rigged and dirty as it was before last summer where the whole Tim Donaghy situation was just a charade where the guy was just the sacrificial lamb. The NBA is dirty beyond recognition.
