I just recently read "Moneyball" and found it incredibly enjoyable........was wondering what other books on statistical analysis you guys may have read and would recommend. Also interested in what baseball books in general you guys have read and enjoyed.
I just ordered.... "The Boys of Summer" by Roger Kahn "Baseball Between the Numbers: Why Everything You Know about the Game Is Wrong" by Johna Keri and the crew at BP. "Three Nights in August: Strategy, Heartbreak, and Joy Inside the Mind of a Manager" by Buzz Bissinger and "Fantasyland" by Sam Walker. Also looking to get my hands on "Teamates", "Ball Four" and the Bill James New "Historical Baseball Abstract" Thoughts on the books I did order? or books I haven't mentioned, that I should definitely be taking a look at? |

I read Fantasyland two years ago, and found it to be a very fun book to read for someone who enjoys fantasy baseball. It is just fun following along for a season, especially when the season is only a few years old and you see him trade for a guy who you know was hit or miss by now.
