get a full batting practice session in using solely your "weak" arm a few times a week.that should get you out of your funk of using your dominant hand and get at the very least a feel of what you should be doing with both arms involved.another thing,it sounds as if you're either out in front of the ball or you're pulling off the ball.if you're pulling off the ball it could be tricky.the first thing you want to do is make sure that when you step you're stepping either toward the pitcher or toward the opposite bag(either 1st or thirdlin your case you'd want to be stepping toward third).also another thing to stop you from pulling off the ball is to you keep your head down.your eyes should be looking exactly where the ball and your bat make contact.if you're having troblem keeping it down put the collar of you're shirt in your mouth and clench it in your teeth until you're finished your swing.you may look like an ass,but it's very effective and one of the best(if not the best way)ways to teach hitters to keep your head down
