-Mirko Cro Cop telling Nova TV that he’s training harder than ever for his anticipated return on September 8 at UFC 75 in London against an unnamed opponent.

I think he has four fights left on his contract so it is not out of the question if he has two more fights and then gets a title shot. Either way he is still a force in the heavyweight division. I can guarantee you he will train for a defense against elbows.

You have to wonder about his retirement quote though if he will stay true to it.

Alessio Sakara added to the card: (Maybe against Bisping)

Italian UFC light heavyweight (11-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) will likely return to the Octagon at UFC 75 in September.

Although the longtime boxer’s opponent is not yet known, Sakara could end up facing one of the night’s biggest draws: The Ultimate Fighter 3 light heavyweight winner Michael Bisping. While the UFC continues its growth overseas, Bisping has become the face of the UFC in England.

With Bisping already announced for the UFC 75 card, Sakara could be the step up in competition that many fans have demanded. However, that potential matchup is purely speculation at this point.

Regardless, the Italian-born Sakara (who now fights out of Florida) should be a solid draw with European fans, and with the recent shake-up of the UFC’s 205-pound division, he could very well improve his stock with the first back-to-back UFC wins of his career.

Two days after its debut in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the UFC is expected to make official at a Monday press conference at least two matches for the UFC 75 card Sept. 8 at the O2 Arena in London.

The Las Vegas-based promotion has already confirmed the title bout between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton Jackson and PRIDE middleweight and light heavyweight king Dan Henderson. They are also expected to introduce a heavyweight showdown between feared strikers Cheik Kongo and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.

The overseas new may not end there. Loretta Hunt, managing editor for The Fight Network's MMA content, has learned that UFC Hall-of-Famer Ken Shamrock could possibly come out of retirement to face British superstar Michael Bisping at UFC 75. Shamrock, who retired following his TKO loss to Tito Ortiz in October, coached against Bisping (13-0, 3-0 UFC) on season three of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

Bisping, who has won all 13 of his professional bouts by KO, TKO or submission, was originally scheduled to face Matt Hamill on the card – the fight was even promoted by Ticketmaster. The 28-year-old defeated veteran Elvis Sinosic at UFC 70 in April.

Regarding rumors regarding the next UFC in London, England, Michael Bisping vs. Matt Hamill is still the scheduled match on that show. There are rumors regarding Bisping vs. Ken Shamrock, but that may have been discussed but it is not the current plan.
