The Cincinnati Cyclones play in the ECHL, and are affiliated with the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL, and the Montreal Canadiens and the Nashville Predators of the NHL.
The Cyclones have a long history of hockey, and once played in the oriiginal IHL. Info about the Cyclones can be found at the ECHL site:

Any rumors for franchise movement/addition/subtraction next year?

I'd love to see a fully affiliated AA eventually.
(the direction they're going)

Default I keep forgetting we have this ECHL section here...

I gotta start putting notes up to remind myself.

So...how 'bout those Wranglers huh? They took it to those Aces - yes!

Quote:
Friday, May 2 Las Vegas Wranglers (6) @ Alaska Aces (3)

The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Alaska Aces 6-3 at Sullivan Arena in Game Five of the National Conference Semifinals on Friday night. Forward Curtis Fraser scored with 8:36 remaining in the third period to lift Las Vegas over Alaska. The Wranglers clinched the playoff series 4-1, moving past the second round of the playoffs for the first time in team history. Right wing Peter Ferraro led the charge with two goals and two assists for 13 points in the second round series. Left wing Shawn Limpright sealed the win with an empty-net goal at 18:53. Limpright also added two assists in the victory. Goalie Daniel Manzato stopped 29 of 32 Alaska shots for the win. Defenseman Gerry Burke also scored and added an assist in the win. The Wranglers advance to the National Conference Finals and will play the winner of the Utah – Victoria series.
WRANGLERS WIN!

The Aces used to make my life miserable when they came to Vegas to play so it's good to see them getting knocked out now.

Congrats to the Wranglers & good luck the rest of the way!

I never thought I'd ever hear myself say I was sorry to move away from Vegas, but I sure do wish I was there for this right now. I miss these guys so much!
Thank goodness for B2TV.com! It's not quite like being there, but better than missing the games.

GO WRANGLERS!!!

Should be a good series. Of course I'm a bit partial to Cincinnati. But it does sound like some good hockey coming up.
