Today the IHL announced their 4 players of the week:

Forward: Tab Lardner Port Huron
Defense: Florian Iberer Kalamazoo
Goalie: Larry Sterling Port Huron

The Bloomington Prairie Thunder announced the signing of rookie LW Jarrett Robertson, who will be available for tonight's game.

The Fort Wayne Komets continue to lead the I with 21 points, followed by the Port Huron IceHawks and the Flint Generals with 20.

Tonight the Port Huron IceHawks visit the Flint Generals, with both teams tied for 2nd in the standings with 20 points. There will be no tie after tonight. To add to the importance of the match, both teams are only one point out of first in the IHL.

Flint leads the IHL with 24 points, Fort Wayne is second with 23 points, and Port Huron is third with 22 points.
