Wow who would have thought that the Royals of all teams would have swept the Tigers to start off the season. Now I know that this could happen to anyone but Tigers? Doesnt seem likely. I hope they bounce back from this set back but more than that I hope that the Royals have started something that they havent been able to in a long time......have a winning season. They are playing like this might happen but once again its still way to early to tell.
GOOD JOB ROYALS!! |

So either the Tigers aren't as good as everyone thinks, or the Royals are a lot better than everyone thinks.
Combo of both is more likely, but still. Good to see the Royals off to a good start. Doesn't mean they have a prayer of snagging a playoff spot, but still, they're off to a good start. I think the last time they did this was in 2003, when they shocked everyone by winning 83 games....

No worries. The Royals dumped Allard Baird last year. That's when your misery officially ended. It just takes some time for the standings to reflect this.
The Royals have a lot of good young players. As the good young players like Butler, Teahan, Gordon and the pitching staff gets older they will get better. I really don't think they'll be finishing in the basement this year. |
