He played last season for HC Hame Zlin, and for the Czech National Team in the under-18 tourney in Finland. The Spits coach says NHL scouts feel he's ranked in the top 60-100 skaters among other 17-year-olds. He's 6'1", and 180lbs, chosen 8th overall.
