Here we go. 60 questions in 60 days (or so).

#1. Which 2 Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame defencemen spent time as coaches with the rival Boston Bruins?

You're right 'stick. Tom Johnson is one of them. The other one is a little trickier to get.

Well, if you really want to stretch a point, Art Ross played for Haileybury, which is an ancestor of the Habs.

Hmm.

Head coach only?

The ex-Hab d'man I have in mind has never been an NHL head coach but was an assistant with the Bruins for 4 seasons.

Hints needed on the very first question? Time to step it up boys.

The other Hab HOF d'man (besides Tom Johnson) who coached in Boston and currently is an assistant with the Devils, has often worked under Pat Burns over the years.

I know, but I cheated. Was trying to confirm my guess and hit the right answer.

Sorry '67ers. Art Ross is not the right answer. The guy I'm looking for is still alive and coaching (as an assistant) in the NHL with the Devils.

Some more hints:

-Played on 6 Habs Cup winners in the 60's and 70's wearing Doug Harvey's old #2.
-Never an NHL head coach, he has been an assistant with the Habs, Bruins, Islanders and Devils.
-Elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1987.
