TSB AL, NL and Mixed Leagues created. Join the TSB leagues NOW!

This will be the official TSB league.

The league hasn't been created on Yahoo yet, so there's nothing to physically join other than replying to this thread.

If you feel like asking: "Why isn't it created yet?"

Don't you have to have the stats and a draft date picked out when you create a league? I'm not going to shove my ideas on anyone. The majority rules as far as I'm concerned to settle any arguments.

I feel I will kick everyone's ass regardless of the settings. I'm hoping everyone else feels the same.

Who's in?

TSB Mixed League:

InfinitePulse

TSB AL-Only League:

Yankee1012

TSB NL-Only League:

I added FG and Infinite to the Mixed League since there was only DyE signed up. They're not locked in.

I'll make a quick suggestion and leave it up to you.

Rather than the mixed league formula we see over and over again, I would suggest an AL-only or NL-only league. Something similar to the league Patronus is a part of.

It would be a lot more interesting if talent were so scarce that you'd actually have to pay attention to players you normally wouldn't. Or if you couldn't just pick up a FA off the wire to fill a need.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I'm in.

My usual fantasy baseball preferences is a traditional baseball lineup (9 batters, 5-7 pitchers, 5-7 bench guys). Especially with what I assume to be a 20 team league. However, I'm always open to new ideas. Witness my participation in the Fix III league, which has an expanded lineup.

Keeper league, as well? Or redraft?

AL/NL only as opposed to mixed league is something else to consider, though I've never done anything other than mixed leagues.

I, too, harbor the opinion that everyone's just going to be playing for second place behind me, so the settings aren't going to make that much of a difference....

I'm in and I'm good with whatever you want to go for Test. Mixed, or AL/NL.

Ok Im in also...

If your planning on having 19 teams I would probably prefer a mixed league.

I agree that you wouldn't need 19 teams for an AL-only league. 12 would be very competitive and much easier to put together.

Another advantage would be that we could use Patronus' experience in a similar league he's a part of, where rules were already developped for keepers and players who switch leagues.

I would suggest a keeper set-up and a minor league system, or a large protection system in a dynasty-type format.
